Paul West has worked in all areas of food production, from growing fruit and veg to WWOOFing on various properties across Australia, to working at wholesale markets, retail grocers and at top restaurants, including Vue De Monde.
It was such a joy to meet Paul, and to chat with him about his career and his philosophies on food and on sustainable living. What surprised me, was just how incredibly funny Paul is – he had me, and the audience in fits of laughter for most of this conversation… he certainly knows how to tell a good story – enjoy!

He hosted River Cottage Australia for four seasons.
He is huge advocate for WWOOFing (Willing Workers on Organic Farms), a hospitality service operated by a network of national organizations that facilitate homestays on organic farms.
